About Kamaria Scott

Want your organization to cover the cost?

Hi! I'm Kamaria. I’m an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist who’s spent the last 20 years working across healthcare, retail, tech, and finance. I’ve reported to both HR and Operations, which means I understand the pressures managers face—and the gap between what's expected and what's supported.Your managers are buried in complexity—slowed by cross-functional friction and  unclear expectations.

But my journey didn’t start in a boardroom. It started in a call center at AOL.
As a college student, I worked frontline customer service during a time of rapid growth and high expectations. What stood out most wasn’t the pace—it was the way our managers showed up.

On the busiest days, they rolled out comfort carts. When we were stretched thin, we placed a cone on our desk—a simple signal that we needed help. And someone always responded.
That experience taught me something I didn’t yet have language for:

“When managers show up with clarity and care, teams can navigate even the most dynamic changes”.

The Shift from Learning to Leading

Years later, I was asked by the COO of a national grocery chain to help his store directors be engaging—not just learn about engagement. He didn’t want another training. He wanted leaders to lead differently.

At the same time, I was managing teams myself. And while I had the title, I didn’t have the tools. The pressure was constant. The expectations were high. The support was minimal. It was draining.

That’s when it all came together:

“Great managers aren’t just trained. They’re shaped by the systems around them—or worn down by the lack of them”.

So I started building what I wish I’d had: structure, rhythm, tools, and alignment across the organization.

What I Build

That work became the foundation for the Manager Momentum Operating System™—a momentum-based performance system that helps organizations create consistent, people-first leadership at scale.

It works in three phases:
Phase One
Foundation

Install habits and routines that build clarity, accountability, and leadership consistency.

Phase Two
Acceleration

Remove friction, reduce drag, and realign systems that block performance.

Phase Three
Execution

Build change-ready leaders who scale with your business.

This isn’t a motivational keynote or a one-off course. It’s a system that helps managers show up consistently, lead with clarity, and stay connected to their teams.

How I Partner With Organizations

Here's how we work together to install MMOS in your organization—building capability while ensuring lasting change:

Here’s where we fit best:

1
Behavior frameworks that map action to results
2
Rhythms that anchor performance without burning people out
3
Tools and coaching that work in real time, not just in training
4
Communities that create shared standards, not siloed effort

Let's Connect

I also host Manager to Manager, a bi-weekly podcast featuring honest conversations with people leaders. Not influencers. Not gurus. Just real managers working through real challenges.
